DAY 1
Arrival to Nairobi

Arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, VIP Meet & Greet assistance will await you and our representative outside the customs and immigration hall will warmly welcome you. A transfer will take you to your city accommodation where you can enjoy an insightful tour briefing. An assisted check-in will be done, overnight stay at Tamarind Tree hotel.

DAY 2
Nairobi excursions

After breakfast at the hotel, you will visit the Daphne Sheldrick elephant orphanage, this is an amazing and fun tour in Nairobi that also gives one truly heart- touching memories. The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust Elephant Nursery bordering Nairobi National Park offers safe haven to orphaned baby elephants rescued from parks and reserves in Kenya. You will then proceed to Giraffe Center that now has over 300 Rothschild Giraffes safe and breeding well in various Kenyan national parks. You will return to your hotel for lunch. The rest of the afternoon will be spent at leisure.

DAY 3
Nairobi-maasai mara national reserve

After breakfast at the hotel, you will depart for Maasai Mara (about a 6 hrs. drive) via the Great Rift Valley viewpoint where you’ll stop for fifteen minutes to see the panoramic and breath-taking-views. Thereafter descend the escarpment and drive through the Hemingway-trails via Narok arriving at the Emboo River in time for lunch. You’ll spend two nights here to explore, discover and experience the Magic of Maasai Mara, a spectacular watch for many millennia that has put Maasai Mara the world’s 7th wonder!  Dinner and overnight stay at the Emboo River Camp.

DAY 4
Explore maasai mara national park

Full day spent exploring the park in search of the big 5. Take full advantage of what the Mara has to offer. Choose from a wide range of activities including the optional hot air balloon safari that can be arranged at an extra cost of $450 per person.
Optional cultural visits to the local Maasai villages at $35 per person. Birding can also be done through the year with the reserve having a record of over 570 species of birds, with more than 50 bird species of prey which include: Eagles, vultures, storks and many others. You can catch thousands of the great wildebeest, zebras, antelopes and elands, followed by gazelles as they cross over returning to their breeding grounds from Serengeti-Tanzania to Maasai Mara-Kenya between the months of July and October.

DAY 5
Maasai mara reserve-lake nakuru national park

After breakfast, you will head towards Lake Nakuru National Park (about a 4.5 hrs. drive). You will arrive in time for lunch at The Cliff Camp; a luxury-tented camp on the Rift Valley Floor perched on top of a 100-meter high rock and about 16km from the Lanet Gate.The park is one of the top tourist destinations in Africa, famed for the Flamingos, both lesser and greater, that flock to its shores to feed on the cyanobacteria that live in its alkaline waters. It is a very important breeding ground and stop over for many species of birds and has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is home to one of the greatest concentrations of Black Rhinos and has a thriving population of White Rhino. It is also a sanctuary for the rare Rothschild Giraffe. With luck, you may spot a leopard, which is rather elusive. Dinner and overnight stay at the Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge.

DAY 6
Lake nakuru national park - Nairobi

After breakfast, you will depart from the camp and head towards Nairobi. Upon arrival, you will have lunch at one of the best Nairobi restaurants. Later you will be transferred to the airport for flight back home.
